About the Teachers

Portuguese          English



Teacher Marcelo has been teaching Portuguese/English for 20 years and currently teaches via Skype. Marcelo is also a psychologist and attends his patients through the same system; via Skype. In addition he feeds a site focused on self-help and psychology with his thoughts, teachings and techniques for the welfare of those who want to drink the water of this source





João Carlos has been teaching  EFL (English  as a Foreign Language), for 26 years. He joined the Production Center of the University of Rio de Janeiro in 1990 as an English teacher for young people, young adults and adults, assuming in 1994 the pedagogical task of coordinator of English for Reading Purpose and Conversation Projects. In 1996 began the implementation project of free language courses on the campus of UERJ in São Gonçalo. During this period participated in the coordination and editorial of several books involving TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) and EPLE . (Ensino de Português como Língua Estrangeira – Teaching Portuguese as a Foreign Language) . Specialized in ESP teaching, taught classes in several companies in the city of Rio de Janeiro until 2004, when he moved to the city of Cabo Frio. Currently holds the role of teacher of English and Portuguese as foreign languages via Skype.

  1. Great Post! It's really good to have a Portuguese teacher because the language is so interesting and fun to learn. I have myself a Portuguese tutor at http://preply.com/en/portuguese-by-skype who teaches me how to understand and speak the language. The tutors are really nice and thorough in teaching me so I'm liking learning from them.
